Using MyDegreeCalc

You may use MyDegreeCalc for personal, educational and non-commercial planning. You are responsible for entering accurate marks, credits, assessment weightings and academic-year contributions.

Estimates are not official results

Calculator results are estimates based on the information entered and the general classification thresholds displayed by the site. Universities may apply course-specific regulations, borderline rules, rounding methods, credit requirements, capped marks, resit rules or examination-board decisions that are not represented by the calculator.

Always check the regulations for your course and cohort. Your university remains the only authoritative source for an official average, progression decision or degree classification.

Student guide content

Articles and FAQs are provided as general educational information. They are not academic, legal, financial, health or professional advice. Examples are simplified to explain calculations and may not match the rules used by a particular institution.

Local data and backups

Calculator data and appearance preferences are normally stored locally in your browser. You are responsible for keeping backups when the calculation is important. Clearing browser storage, using private browsing, changing devices or browser settings may remove locally stored data.

Availability and accuracy

We aim to keep the calculator available and accurate, but the service is provided without a guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every degree programme. To the extent permitted by law, MyDegreeCalc is not responsible for decisions made solely in reliance on an estimate generated by the site.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the service, misuse the contact form, introduce malicious code, scrape the site in a way that harms availability, or reproduce substantial parts of the site as a competing service without permission.

Third-party services and links

The site may use or link to third-party services, including hosting, contact-form and advertising providers. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you interact with those services.

Changes

These terms may be updated when the calculator, content or third-party services change. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest version.
